| Aravali School of Ignited Minds (ASIM) is a new institution established this year. The roadmap of ASIM is based on our founding fathers Mahatma Gandhi’s book “India of My Dreams” and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vision for India. The conceptual framework for this programme will also derive extensively from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam’s book “Ignited Minds” and selected similar books written by the great men and women of India over its history. The primary objective of this programme is to create and develop better citizens and better human beings for the gigantic task of our nation-building in line with vision of our founding fathers and the dreams of citizens of this great country. |

| It was the mission of one determined man and his family who toiled against all odds to earlier establish Aravali Institute of Management (AIM) in the year 2000. That they succeeded within a few years to create AIM as an institution of national repute was highly commendable. AIM was ranked 1st in Rajasthan (Business India Survey 2002), 50th in India (Outlook Survey 2005) and awarded “A++” rating (Financial Express Survey 2009) |

| The journey, however, was not without its pitfalls. It has been an unending and arduous struggle of hardships and sacrifices against vested interests, an indifferent bureaucracy and a hostile political environment. The institute has been penalized for adhering to its principles and values and not stooping down to unethical means by being denied its due recognition on merit and its Two Years Full-time Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGDM) had to face a close down. However, since its inception, over and above conducting PGDM programme which has placed its alumni of 11 batches in responsible positions in reputed organizations all over India and abroad in U.S.A., U.K. & Africa, it has also conducted over 300 societal-benefit programmes primarily at Jodhpur but also in Jaipur, Udaipur, Bikaner, Alwar, Ahmedabad, Baroda and Delhi. These include public lectures, programmes for the industry, college/university/school teachers, the students of local colleges, universities & schools and the physically challenged & orphan children. |

| In March 2012 the Institute shifted to its own around 100 acres campus (named “Aravali Gurukul Ashram”) in Kaparda, Distt. Jodhpur and has been operating from there. This unique Aravali Gurukul Ashram was developed from a saline arid wasteland into a productive asset through environmental preservation, water-harvesting and non-conventional energy usage. Societal benefit programmes along with truly top quality education, empowerment and nation-building are its defining themes. The aim now is to establish a truly world-class educational complex, where the best of Indian heritage and traditions would be blended with the latest in modernity.. |
