PROGRAMME

Based on our founding fathers Mahatma Gandhiâ€™s book â€œIndia of My Dreamsâ€ and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patelâ€™s vision for India, we have launched a unique "Two Years Full-time Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Nation-Building". The conceptual framework for this programme also derives extensively from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalamâ€™s book â€œIgnited Mindsâ€ and selected similar books written by the great men and women of India over its history. The primary objective of this programme is to create and develop better citizens and better human beings for the gigantic task of our nation-building. Our major credentials for conducting the above programme are following: We have around 1000 distinguished persons and experts including alumni and faculty of IITs & IIMs, entrepreneurs, organizational founders, CEOs and saints from all over India and abroad associated with us as visiting faculty. We also have 24 core/regular faculty members. Around 600 eminent persons from the leading organizations from all over India and abroad have interacted with our students and visited our Aravali Institute of Management. The visitors included His Holiness Dalai Lama, Dr. I. G. Patel, Dr. Abid Hussain, Dr. C. Rangarajan, Mr. J. M. Lyngdoh, Mr. T. S. Krishna Murthy, Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Param Vir Chakra Hony Capt. Bana Singh and Directors of IITs & IIMs. We have the Board of Mentors & Patrons and Board of Governors consisting of leading citizens of India. We have the International Advisory Council having experts from abroad, National Advisory Council with eminent people from all over India and Local Advisory Council consisting of leading people from Jodhpur to advise, guide and help in various matters. We have around 100 acres unique campus â€œAravali Gurukul Ashramâ€ which has been developed by transformation of extremely saline arid wasteland into green campus. This has been appreciated by a large number of people from all over India and abroad, the details of which can be found on google.com. During the last around two decades, we have organized and conducted over 300 societal benefit programmes for school children, college/university students, women, villagers, orphans and specially-abled people benefitting over 24,000 persons. We have synergistic collaborations and partnerships with around 60 leading organizations from all over India and abroad. We have a number of scholarships and financial aid schemes available to help poor students to study, with the perspective that anyone and everyone with merit who wishes to develop capabilities and competencies for better career and life will have the sure opportunity to do so irrespective of his/her means. In our Aravali Institute of Management (AIM) we have transformed the lives of around 700 students and their families many of whom were primarily from the disadvantaged, downtrodden and rural areas. Many of these students could not speak English, did not know how to boot the computer and were not able to get a salary of even Rs. 5000 per month. However, when they passed out from AIM, they were recruited by the leading organizations from all over India and abroad including top multinationals with good salaries. A high powered committee under the chairmanship of Padmashri Prof. Pritam Singh (Former Director, IIM Lucknow) had, after carrying out detailed analysis of our Aravali Institute of Management (AIM), termed it as a role model institution for the country. AIM has also been ranked 1st in Rajasthan and amongst top 50 in India by Outlook magazine, rated â€œAâ€ by Business India magazine and rated â€œA++â€ by Financial Express newspaper. Salient features of the above Two Years Full-time Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Nation-Building are as under : Unique courses & curricula with the inputs from the leading organisations in India and abroad. The learning structure and pedagogy will extensively use the case studies, live projects, internships, expertsâ€™ lectures, workshops, educational excursions, games, role plays, social work, interactions with the role models, etc. The classes will be in Gurukul Ashram-mode held in the classrooms, in organizational offices, under the trees, on the banks of lakes and rivers and in the villages. There has been heavy demand for our students by a large number of organizations all over India and abroad. Therefore, the students will have a job offer or entrepreneurship proposal along with the admissions letter. This will be a unique feature of this programme. The admissions will be open to all those graduates interested, with preference for those from disadvantaged, downtrodden and rural population. The admissions to our this programme are through Aravali Search & Selection Entrance Test (ASSET), followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The above unique educational programme does not come under the jurisdiction of any regulatory authority. However, we have received the blessings for success of this programme from a large number of top central government authorities including AICTE.
